FAQ

  • What is AGD PACE approval?

This is a recognition by the Academy of General Dentistry for Continuing Education Credits. This means you may submit any CE credits earned to your licensing body for approval. In many countries, a number of Continuing Education Credits are required for licence renewal. There may be a limit on the number of on-line credits submitted, although live on-line webinars fall under the category of live courses and not self-learning.

  • How long is this course?

The duration of this course is set by your own pace. Once you register, you will have access to the course for 3 years during your residency program.

  • How do I ask questions during each module?

You can post discussion questions within the course learning platform where those who are also taking the course can respond in a public forum. If you'd like to ask a private question, you can e-mail Dr. Sandra Tai a personal e-mail.

  • How do I get CE credits?

At the end of each module, there will be a 5 question quiz based on the learning outcomes of each module. You are required to answer 3/5 questions correctly to move on to the next module. If you have insufficient correct answers, watch the video lecture again and you may attempt the quiz multiple times until the required number of correct answers is achieved. Upon completion of the 3 month course, you will be emailed a PDF certificate certifying successful completion of the course. You may then use the certificate to apply for CE credits with your dental licensing authority.
